New Caledonia is a gray heavy-pattern granite from Brazil. Granite is natural igneous stone: hard, heat tolerant and scratch resistant. It should be sealed, usually about once a year.
Example: a 45 sq ft kitchen needs about 1 slab of New Caledonia at this size. The install is 45 × $38 = $1,710, plus the slabs at the yard's price. A 60 sq ft kitchen with an island takes about 2 slabs and $2,280 in install.
Installation is $38 per square foot with the sink cutout included, plus the slab, priced from the yard's current list.
At about 73.7 sq ft per slab, a typical 45 sq ft kitchen needs 1. We lay your tops out on the actual slab before cutting.
Yes. It is on the Austin yard; you pick the exact slab and we fabricate from it.
Tell us the rooms, the rough square footage and what you have in mind for new caledonia. You get a number for the whole job, in writing, before anyone cuts anything.
