Botanic Green Soapstone is a green moderate-pattern soapstone from Brazil. Soapstone is soft but dense and non-porous. It darkens with oil, shrugs off heat, and scratches can be sanded out.
Example: a 45 sq ft kitchen needs about 1 slab of Botanic Green Soapstone at this size. The install is 45 × $38 = $1,710, plus the slabs at the yard's price. A 60 sq ft kitchen with an island takes about 2 slabs and $2,280 in install.
Installation is $38 per square foot with the sink cutout included, plus the slab, priced from the yard's current list.
